FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What custom fasteners can you machine?
Custom screws, studs, pins, standoffs and threaded hardware in any size and thread — made to your drawing, CMM-inspected.
What thread classes can you produce?
Unified, metric and special threads in common classes, with thread-form verification. NPT, BSP and ACME threads also available.
What materials and strengths do you offer?
Stainless 303/304/316, alloy steel (10.9/12.9 equivalent where applicable), brass and aluminum. Material certs available on request.
How do you protect fastener surfaces?
Passivation for stainless, zinc plating and Dacromet-type coatings via our partners, anodizing for aluminum. Specify your corrosion requirement and we'll match it.
What is the minimum order for custom fasteners?
No MOQ. We machine 1-piece samples for qualification and scale to 10,000+ piece runs with consistent quality.
How do you inspect small precision fasteners?
CMM and optical measurement for critical dimensions, thread gauges for form, with full inspection reports included on every order.
Buyer Guide
Buyer's Guide
How to Request a Quote for Custom Fasteners
Send the drawing with: thread spec (size, pitch, class), material and strength grade, coating or finish, quantity, and head/drive style. Complete thread info avoids rework.
Material Selection Guide
Stainless 303 for general fasteners, 316 for corrosion, alloy steel for high-strength applications, brass and aluminum for special uses. Match material to your environment and load.
DFM Tips for Fastener Machining
Specify thread length and undercut clearly, allow for coating thickness in final dimensions, and confirm drive style (hex, socket, Torx) for tooling access.
Quality & Inspection
CMM and optical inspection, thread-form gauging, Cpk ≥ 1.33, free FAI, full reports included. Batch consistency verified at volume.
Lead Time & Shipping
Fast track 1–2 months, prototypes in 5–7 business days. DDP door-to-door with one invoice — export, customs, duties, last-mile.
